About Susan Dodge

Susan is a born and bred Vermonter. She grew up in St. Johnsbury, VT, attended St. Johnsbury Academy and then attended the University of Vermont, graduating in 1982 with a B.S. in Physical Therapy. She recently received her Masters of Science in Health Care Administration and Managment from Marlboro College. Susan has worked in a wide variety of settings but her love is for orthopedic, sports medicine and performance. In addition Susan is a competitive runner and running coach, completing over 20 marathons and one ultra marathon. The knowledge Susan has as a runner, a coach and a physical therapist allows her to understand the needs of runners, athletes, and high performing individuals. Life itself is an athletic event and Susan is invested in getting individuals back to doing the things they love to do. Her approach to care is to listen to the patient and let that guide her evaluation, assessment and plan of care. She approaches the client holistically and not as an injured part, striving to help her patient’s find balance in all areas including neuro-motor systems and training programs. In her spare time she enjoys running, cycling and being active with her family.
