About Olga M. Mardach-Duclerc L.Ac

Olga Mardach-Duclerc L.Ac, known as 'Earth Mama', is an alumnus of the New York College of Health Professions Graduate School of Oriental Medicine. She holds a Masters of Science in Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine and is Board Certified through the NCCAOM as a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology). She is a licensed acupuncturist in Vermont.

Continuing her training in Acupuncture in Pregnancy, Labor and Delivery from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and Gynecologic clinical rotations with a focus on treating Endometriosos, Fibroids, Menstrual and Menopause imbalances, infertility and PCOS.

Olga also received training and certification from NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist with a focus on pain relief and recovery from addiction. Currently, she is continuing training for trigger point techniques for chronic pain and acute injuries. She uses integrative herbalism which combines Chinese and Western herbs, with a focus on locally sourced materials.

Prior to studying Chinese Medicine, Olga was an EMT/Paramedic in NYC, a Birth Worker (Doula/Lactation Counselor,) Community Health Educator and studied Africana Diaspora Studies and Biology at the City College of New York.
Her practice focuses on an Integrative approach of Biomedical Science with Acupuncture and herbal based medicines.

First session includes full evaluation I may perform some additional physical examinations depending on your individual health needs. Using these unique assessment tools, recommend a proper treatment plan to address your particular condition with first acupuncture treatment. (approx. 60 min.)

The frequency and number of treatments differ from person to person. Some people experience dramatic relief in the first treatment. For complex or long-standing chronic conditions, one to two treatments per week for several months may be recommended. For acute problems, usually fewer visits are required.
