Mindy Cohen earned a Masters in physical therapy from Regis University in Denver, CO in 1996. Mindy's specialty is CranioSacral Therapy which is a light touch technique that helps to release restrictions in the nervous system. She is certified in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger institute in West Palm Beach, Florida and has 20 years experience helping people with this modality. People have received symptomatic relief of back and neck pain, headaches, TMJ, joint problems, chronic pain through craniosacral therapy. It is also used as preventive/wellness approach in reducing the stress of everyday life. She is certified in Resonant Kinesiology which is educational body work that uses movement, touch and sound and also certified in teaching Hatha Yoga. She has studied lymphatic drainage therapy, taught Experiental Anatomy and Physiology at Burlington Colege and is a teaching assistant with the Upledger Institute. She has worked in sports and orthopedic clinics, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities and has a private practice in Burlington.
