I am a Psychotherapist who specializes in Clinical Hypnosis and am a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse, Licensed Certified Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Certified Social Worker. With over 45 years of psychotherapy experience and over 20 years as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, I have founded a Pregnancy/Parenting Mental Health Clinic called C.O.P.E. in Boston and was the Executive Director from 1972-92, been administrator of two Home Care companies specializing in Psychiatric illnesses, and have had a private practice, Motivation Hypnosis since 1995.

I am an Approved Consultant for the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and have a Clinical Hypnosis Training business, HYPNOVATIONS, with Dr. Linda Thomson, APRN since 2008. We have provided training for over 300 licensed clinicians from the US, Canada, and Israel. Through Motivation Hypnosis, I also provide liciensed clinicians and Graduate students with Advanced Clinical Hypnosis workshops and presentation which include my specialties of Clinical Hypnosis applied to Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD), Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxiety, Phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders (OCD), Weight Issues, Substance Abuse, and Pre and Post-Operative for Improved Outcomes. I have developed many techniques to help individuals identify the cause of their issues and facilitate healing the symptoms so the condition improves and often is no longer symptomatic. I have treated individuals from 23 different languages of origin and see children as well as adults.

Presently, I am completing a Longitudinal Study of 15 individuals with ADD and the Application of Clinical Hypnosis to Traits and Symptoms of ADD. The preliminary findings have all been very positive and I and a report is being prepared for journal publication.

I enjoy teaching individuals self-hypnosis and utilizing Clinical Hypnosis to help solve and heal both short-term and long term problems. Most insurances are accepted for payment for psychotherapy.
