Integrative Yoga classes & Yoga Therapy — Integrative Yoga emphasizes the integration of breath, movement and awareness. Our Yoga practices balance vinyasa (flow) with held postures. In our classes and individual therapeutic sessions we work extensively with chakras (energy centers) and pranayama (breath practice) as well as the physical body. Yoga therapy addresses a wide spectrum of problems from fibromyalgia to depression. This form of Yoga therapy focuses on the major energy centers of the central core. Yoga therapy incorporates Yoga postures & breathing techniques, gentle touch & physical support and guided awareness. The holistic basis of this Yoga therapy can reveal the connections among several symptoms or conditions and help address the fundamental imbalances that contribute to them. In addition to experiencing specific therapeutic benefits, you will leave the hour-long session deeply relaxed and refreshed..
Integrative Health Coaching — The aim of Integrative Health Coaching is integration of your body, mind, spirit, values and action. This is basis of health and well-being. As your Health Coach, Laura offers the space and time to learn who you are and what is important to you. She draws on her extensive training and experience in traditional mind-body modalities, counseling and coaching, and nutrition and health. In individual, group or workshop settings, Laura helps you clarify and set your intentions. She helps you navigate the sometimes confusing and overwhelming information about health, nutrition and lifestyle.
