About Karen Waters

Karen worked as an RN for 22 yrs at Fletcher Allen , now UVM Medical Center, on the thoracic surgery floor. An interest in natural medicine and desire to help those suffering with body pain, led her to massage, she completed her massage training at the Vermont Institute of Massage Therapy in 2001. She worked concurrently as and RN and massage therapist until 2013 when she opened her current studio in the Woolen Mill in Winooski and left her nursing career. In 2007 she started Trigger Point Therapy training with Amber Davies in Kentucky and has completed both upper and lower body classes. Karen helps her clients reduce and relieve their muscle related pain through massage and Craniosacral therapy and teaches them trigger point therapy self care individually and in classes, to help them discover how to reduce their pain independently, empowering them, helping them gain more ease in their body and improving their quality of life.
