About John Bisaccia

John Bisaccia, DC, CCSP is a certified sports chiropractic physician. He has advanced training in the treatment of sports-related injuries, both spinal and extremity (shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, ankles, etc.). Dr. John is certified in Neuromuscular Reeducation and in the Graston technique of soft-tissue mobilization. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science/Pre-Law from Saint Michael’s College (Winooski, Vermont) in 1988, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Western States Chiropractic College (Portland, Ore.) in 1996. He is the past president of the Vermont Chiropractic Association, as well as a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), the ACA Sports Council, and the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Spinal and extremity manipulative therapy (adjusting) — Using hands on techniques to increase joint movement and range of motion in area that are not working/moving through a full range of motion.

Physiotherapy machines (electric stimulation, Ultrasound)— The use of advanced machines to help relax muscles and decrease inflammation. Hands on and instrument assisted soft tissue release techniques (NMR, Graston tecnique of soft tissue manipulation, Dry Needling). We incorporate therapeutic exercise programs to engage our patients in their own healing.
