About Jennifer (J) Bleiker Murphy

Even as a child, I noticed those who are dying are among the most alive. Strangers and neighbors, animals and pets seek me out in their lasting moments. I have been a Hospice Volunteer, professional firefighter and EMT. Now I spend most of my time in a professional role and caring for my family, yet I’m constantly drawn to the beauty and grief of palliative and end of life care. Accompanying those at the end of life and offering support to their loved ones continues to be one of my callings.
