About Janet Franz

Janet is an experienced wellness professional who is passionate about healthy living. She works with both individuals and groups to create positive, long-term lifestyle changes to improve physical fitness, nutrition, personal development and work-life balance. In 2021, she earned a certificate in Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching from the University of Vermont and became certified by the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching. Janet is also nationally certified in Personal Training, Group Fitness and Mat Pilates. She enjoys providing wellness education to working adults, older people, college students and people recovering from injuries and chronic disease. Janet writes feature stories and educational content for the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. She chairs the Vermont Governor's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, serving since 2004.
