About Jane Martin

Jane Martin is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Vermont and Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. Before moving to Vermont, she worked at Volition Wellness Solutions, a center with a collaborative team of functional medicine doctors, therapists, nutritionists, acupuncturists, etc. She brings this holistic approach into her practice in Vermont.
Jane has an extensive bag of tools to use for different needs. From regular talk therapy, to Jungian shadow work, to bodypsychotherapy, to Internal Family Systems Therapy, to Nonviolent Communication (NVC), to Imago Relationship counseling, she will adapt to your preferences and needs.
The former owner of the Natural Baby Catalog, Jane was a pioneer in the Natural Parenting Movement in the 80's and 90's advocating for natural childbirth practices, ecological and non-toxic children's medicines and products, and non-punitive parenting methods. Her children having had a Waldorf education, Jane is versed in anthroposophical approaches to parenting. Her work now, with teens and their parents through www.ReTribe.org gives her a passion for working with this group privately in her practice as well.
For long term psychological or medical problems that might need a new nonstandard approach, Jane can help.

Jane received her masters in Child Psychology, and Transpersonal Psychology.
She is on the faculty of Integration Concepts, a Breathwork/Bodypsychotherapy modality.
She is on the Spiritual Emergence Network, assisting people who are experiencing psychotic-like symptoms to reground and breakthrough.
Jane specializes in working with teens, and their families. She is part of an organization, www.ReTribe.org , which runs healing retreats for teens and adults.
