About Hildie Dunn

Hildie Dunn’s natural enthusiasm and incredible heart is well suited to coaching. Her spirit, while infectious and inspiring to her clients and colleagues, is balanced by her desire to see people through not only the victories, but also the roughest patches of their lives. Her mission as a coach with Handel Group is to empower people to live extraordinary lives and reach their dreams with joy and intention. That’s quite a tall order, but Hildie delights in the challenge.

After experiencing the struggle of her parents’ deaths, there is no mistake that Hildie has turned her attention to the process of dying and the challenges that go along with that for both the patient and for their caretakers. Through her work in the field, Hildie is making a profound difference in how people say goodbye to loved ones. She helps her clients design this last phase of life purposefully and offers clients who are caregivers a magical elixir of hope and relief as they care for their loved ones.

Hildie received her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Education from LaSalle University and her master’s degree in Student Personnel Work with an emphasis on Human Development from The Ohio State University. She dove into the educational world and has been committed to educating and helping people of all ages flourish ever since. She was formerly a fourth grade teacher at St. John’s Ukrainian Catholic School in Newark, NJ and an Assistant Dean of Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA. Hildie presently is an adjunct professor at Rutgers University.

Hildie is a practicing nutritional counselor, educated at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and a certified personal trainer. Hildie is an End of Life Doula with her End of Life Doula Professional Certificate from University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine/Osher Center for Integrative Health. She teaches a powerful heart-mind-body fitness practice called intenSati. Hildie brings integrity and a unique knowledge of the body-mind connection to her clients. She leads Handel Group events in the New York metro area and online, speaks at various hospice and palliative care conferences along with privately coaching clients. Hildie lives in New Jersey with her husband and their family of five children and four grandchildren.
