About Frances Pope
Frances Pope Hewitt, LPC/S, LAC, LCMHC, NCC, owner, and operator, is a trained End-of-Life Doula through the International End of Life Doula Association (INELDA) and the University of Vermont’s Professional and Continuing Education training program for humans and animals. Frances is the Lead Program Doula for the University of Vermont's End-of-Life Doula programs. Frances is also a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC/S) and a Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) in the state of South Carolina as well as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in the state of North Carolina. With over 20 years of clinical experience in the behavioral health care field, she has spent her career advocating for those who could not advocate for themselves, ensuring they have access to quality behavioral health care. Frances has taken this same clinical passion to those who are facing end-of-life phases and decisions to ensure her client’s die well. Frances is a graduate of Lander University and earned her Master of Education in Community Counseling from Clemson University, in South Carolina, in 2001.

End-of-Life Doula Services services for adults, children, and companion animals are non-medical services individually designed to offer support during the most difficult yet sacred transition of the birth, life, and death cycle.
Professional Counseling services are designed to support you and your loved one's journey through the end-of-life process and the subsequent grief and bereavement following the death. We also provide counseling for those dealing with grief, loss, and transitions, regardless of the cause.
Consultation and Supervision services are available for Licensed Professional Counselors/Associates in South Carolina, and Consultation/Training for those interested in learning more about End-of-Life Doulas.
Workshops and training are designed to educate our community, service providers, and clergy on the importance of End-of-Life planning and training. If you have specific training requests, please feel free to reach out so we can collaborate on best meeting your needs.
