About Frances O'Donnell

About me: My name is Frances O'Donnell and I am a senior at UVM. I am a member of the UVM women's soccer team and am majoring in Exercise Science, and double minoring in Nutrition and Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching. I am from Northern California and have been really enjoying my time here in Vermont and getting to experience a completely different part of the country. I am extremely passionate about health/fitness/wellness and feel very grateful that UVM is providing me with such a unique educational experience that fully encompasses all of my top interests. Being a Division 1 athlete has really helped shape my goals and gives me another perspective on how we currently view sports medicine and integrative health. I am hoping to eventually earn a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.

About Health Coaching: This is a rapidly growing new field! It is incredibly exciting to be part of this new wave of integrative medicine. This process lets you, the client, really take the drivers seat in navigating and discovering what health and wellness really means to you and what you want to get out of this. Our approach focuses more on you as a whole person and we work to draw connections between the many different areas of health and wellness. This includes nutrition, movement, sleep, mind-body connection, relationships, environment, and more!
