About Emily Irwin

Emily Irwin has a certificate of completion from the clinical training program at Vermont Center for Integrative Herbalism, which is a first-of-it's-kind three year training program. This schooling includes a scientific approach to phytochemistry, and pathophysiology, which complement the holistic approach of Traditional Chinese Medicine and hands on clinical experience that are emphasized in the third year of training.

Emily's clinical approach is to offer many options for health care, with an emphasis on protective/preventative methods. By bringing knowledge of the plants to clients, a greater web of public health will be cast to support our daily needs and also assist our quest for knowledge and support for difficult or confusing health concerns. She and the client co-create detailed herbal protocols that fit the needs of the client. Each person has the strength within themselves to resolve health problems, the herbalist acts in a supportive role. The body wants to be balanced and healthy, and my service motivates that instinct. There is no concern too trivial, and no condition that makes you unfit to see an herbalist.
