About Emily Calman
Upon my recent graduation, I am excited to be entering the health and wellness sector as a public health advocate and promoter of health and wellness. My educational background is a well-rounded understanding of both population- and individual-level health, with a B.S. in Public Health Sciences and a nationally accredited Integrative Health Coaching Certificate. I am passionate about tackling health inequities and improving access to health services among marginalized communities. I strongly believe that food is medicine and that it serves as our most intimate interaction to our external environment; and therefore, is a primary and vital component to wellness. I am a firm believer in every individual's capacity to change, grow, and succeed through self-determined health goals to cultivate and achieve their optimal wellness. The future of health care is preventative, patient-driven, and has an integrated team approach. I am very excited to begin to professionally apply my valuable education and knowledge base to the betterment of my community's health and wellness!
