About Chelsie Lang

Chelsie’s yoga journey began while attending college in her native state of Pennsylvania. A practice which initially began as a form of exercise and stress-relief, Chelsie became determined to explore yoga on a deeper level. She continued to practice yoga more consistently and explored the mission of various yoga studios as she moved to various states, including South Carolina, Arizona, Nevada, and Vermont. In 2020, Chelsie attended a yoga retreat in Thailand, and in 2023, she chose to complete her 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher training at Sangha Studio in Burlington, Vermont, which she felt aligned with her vision to provide a practice that focuses on community connection & inclusivity.
In addition to yoga, Chelsie is a proud cat mom of two who enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, live music, and DIY projects. One of her favorite experiences was adventuring around the country for 3 months on a solo road trip. A goal of hers it to explore every National Park in the country!
By profession, she feels fulfilled as a Child Life Specialist, in which she supports children who are impacted by a caregiver's cancer diagnosis, and other illness experiences. She is actively involved in local organizations, including Mahana Magic and Camp Knock Knock, which support children and families impacted by cancer and grief.

200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Certification - Obtained from Sangha Studio, Burlington VT (2023)
Certified Child Life Specialist - Association of Child Life Professionals (2020)

Chelsie strives to offer a practice which nourishes community connection and inclusivity by welcoming all body types & levels of experience. Students can expect to practice yoga more consciously & link breath with movement as we flow through a 1-hour yoga sequence, beginning with meditation & gentle movements, and progressing towards more energetic postures, with option to practice balance, strength, and flexibility. Class will end with floor-based stretches & a transition into a gentle posture for relaxation. A variety of sequencing will be offered, and students are encouraged to choose the option that best matches their mobility & energy. Chelsie hopes that her classes will offer students a way to deepen their own yoga journey, both on & off of the mat.
This class is offered complimentary to those impacted by cancer and their immediate loved ones. A sliding scale of $10-$20 is the recommended donation for all others.
