About Carol Fournier

Carol is a spiritual director and licensed mental health counselor who provides compassionate care for your heart, mind and spirit.
Carol serves individuals, couples and families through an integrative practice dedicated to enhancing wellness, happiness, peace and joy through deep healing. As a spiritual director she offers compassionate care for your journey in meaning making and connection with others, community and the source of life. As founder, director and core faculty for the Silver Dove Institute for Spiritual Care (www.silverdoveinstitute.org) she trains spiritual directors, counselors, spiritual and religious leaders, healthcare providers and educators in the Art of Spiritual Guidance internationally.
Carol is an integrative mental health counselor drawing on best practices and current research to support you in your healing journey. She is an assistant professor at the University of Vermont where she trains pre-med students in spirituality and wellness; counselors in integrative care and participates as an affiliate of the Programs in Integrative Healthcare at the UVM College of Medicine. She serves as an multifaith community chaplain in the Spiritual Care Department at Fletcher Allen Hospital.
As a contemplation and meditation teacher for twenty years, she facilitates a number of contemplative communities focused on deepening spiritual wellness as well as understanding of the values and beliefs that guide your journey.
