About amy lepage

I love to learn, and as it turns out, I love to teach. In the past, I shared my love of photography teaching high school students in California. Then, hands in clay, teaching ceramics in Vermont. After taking a few years raising my young sons, I shifted my focus and dove back into movement and the body - areas of interest since high school, just not yet fully realized.

During the past 14 years, I’ve completed a number of trainings and certifications that built the path to creating a practice that teaches about how we can help ourselves with movement through the lens of: "less is more", building body awareness, getting curious, neuromuscular re-education and more. My approach to movement includes the importance of slowing down and understanding basic anatomy, functional movement, innate nervous system responses, breathing mechanics, ways to be with pain, recognizing how we carry physical and emotional stress, tension and bracing patterns in our bodies, rebuilding strength without force and taking this inner awareness of oneself into day to day living as we meet the outwardly focuses, fast-paced world we live in.

These skills have been life changing for me and also have helped me navigate injury, pain, big life transitions and have helped build a stronger sense of awe and joy.

I look forward to sharing this approach with you.
